Do you feel hungry and there's nothing to eat? This is a SIMPLE, DELICIOUS AND EASY recipe for you to make during a weekend when you are willing to stay in the kitchen for too long!
Perfect for lunch time or to take to a picnic! And the best part you can add the filling that you wish: cheese and ham, tuna, chicken, vegetables... it's to you!!!!
So let's start?
Do ahead: preheat your oven at 350F and grease a rectangular baking pan
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tbsp grated cheese
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
First add the liquid ingredients into a blender and blend it well.
Now add the dry ingredients.
Pour half of the batter in the baking pan and in layers add your filling. In my case I used mozzarella and sliced turkey breast.
Add some tomato slices and season with oregano!
Now pour the other half of the batter on top of the filling.
Pop up into the oven and bake for about 30 minutes!
For doneness insert a toothpick in the pie. If it's clean, it's done!
